Would you join me in signing a petition to the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse its decisions in Roe v. Wade, Doe v. Bolton and Planned Parenthood v. Casey? These three cases allow the slaughter of millions of children in the United States of America. These three cases together constitute a crime against humanity. A crime against humanity occurs when a government withdraws legal protection from a class of human beings, in this case, children in the womb, resulting in severe deprivation (including death).
This petition has been prepared for you and millions of Americans like you by The Justice Foundation. The Justice Foundation represented Norma McCorvey, the former "Roe" of Roe v. Wade and Sandra Cano, the former "Doe" of Doe v. Bolton in their efforts to reverse the two cases that brought abortion to the United States. Both women have gone to be with the Lord but they did everything they could before they died to convince the Supreme Court that the cases decided in their names were, in fact, unjust, incorrectly decided and should be reversed.
However, the Supreme Court would not listen to these women when they came on their own to the Supreme Court. We are calling on millions of Americans to join in The Moral Outcry to reverse the two cases that brought abortion to America. We also seek to reverse Planned Parenthood v. Casey, a 1992 case which, though it weakened abortion, continued allowing abortion in America with some restrictions.
One of the proper legal reasons for overturning a Supreme Court decision is that it has not been accepted by the American people. This petition can help to establish in the minds of the Justices and in the official records of the U.S. Supreme Court that millions of Americans believe that abortion is a crime against humanity. This crime was created by the Supreme Court and, as the petition explains, it should be overturned by the Supreme Court.
Just as Brown v. Board of Education reversed a 58 yr. old Supreme Court precedent , the Court should reverse its own cases now and correct the error and injustice it created. The Court's highest duty is to the Constitution and justice, not to prior erroneous opinions of the Supreme Court. If the mere passage of time (58 years) was enough to keep a bad decision intact, we would still have segregation.
Another example of a wrong Supreme Court decision is Dred Scott. It was a crime against humanity because it withdrew legal protection from a class of human beings (African Americans) through slavery. It took a civil war to end that crime against humanity. Will it take another civil war? We pray not. Instead, the Supreme Court of the United States should do what it did to its own erroneous decision of Plessy v. Ferguson, the separate but equal doctrine, and reverse its 44 year old precedent of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, and its 26 yr. old precedent of Planned Parenthood v. Casey by reversing and annulling them. They should be wiped out completely from the face of the earth and from the records of any just nation.
As you can see from the petition, there are also new facts and circumstances which make these crimes against humanity no longer just, or even necessary for those who think it is. Under Safe Haven laws in all 50 states, no woman has to care for an unwanted child but can simply turn over her child to the state within a reasonable time after birth with no questions asked, no legal procedure and all responsibilities removed from her. See www.nationalsafehavenalliance.org for the law in your state. It is estimated that over a million families a year are waiting to adopt healthy infants at birth and they would be happy to receive these children.
The petition also mentions that abortion is not even good for women themselves, but instead opens a door to pain and suffering for many, many women. If you have had an abortion, go to www.operationoutcry.org to allow your story to be told to the Supreme Court and legislatures considering banning or restricting abortion. (Confidentially as you instruct!) There are healing resources for abortion there as well!
The Supreme Court has made itself a super-legislature and it has created massive injustice. Therefore, it is appropriate at this time to petition them to correct the injustice which they created. It is unreasonable to expect the people of the United States through the constitutional amendment process to reverse this wrongful decision. It is certainly inappropriate and wrong to wait for a civil war. Let justice be done. Let justice roll down like waters from Heaven above. Please pray and sign the petition today!
